Cedar Crest Lodge

 

Cedar Crest Lodge is a private luxury lodge located in the Ponca Wilderness Area near the Buffalo National River. It is not a traditional lodge where you rent just a room…you rent the entire place!

 

The lodge is over 6000 square feet in an open floor plan: a main floor sunken living room with wood burning fireplace, gourmet kitchen, dining/meeting room with a native stone fireplace, four master suites with a queen bed – each has a separate sitting room area containing a single sofa sleeper and a screened in porch. The upper porches each have a hammock. The two upper suites have an unique stepladder leading up to a large sleeping loft with two full-size beds and one single fold-out. The lodge sleeps a total of 22 adults and children in four queen beds, four full-size beds and six singles.

The gourmet kitchen features a six-burner gas stove, two refrigerators, beverage cooler, separate ice maker, two freezer drawers, two convection ovens, warming drawer, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is supplied with coffeemaker, toaster, dishware, cookware, baking pans, serving pieces, table linens, basic food staples and cleaning supplies. A curved granite breakfast bar surrounds the kitchen, providing seating for eight. The dining room features a wood burning native stone fireplace. A 42” flat screen TV with satellite/local channels with a BluRay DVD player is located behind cabinetry for main floor viewing.

 

The second floor entertainment area is open to the living and dining room below. Multiple furniture groupings allow for a variety of activities; conversation, board games, TV viewing/gaming or small group interactions, 42” flat screen TV with satellite and local channels, a BluRay DVD player, XBox gaming system, two large leather sofas and a variety of board games, movies and XBox games ensures everyone’s preferences can be met. Two other furniture groupings give additional space for all activities.

 

Laundry room is just off the kitchen with a high-efficiency washer and dryer for your use. Cleaning supplies, brooms, mops and cleaning towels are provided. An outside door opens to the side driveway provides easy access for carrying in groceries or for guests needing fewer entry stairs. Located near the laundry room is a main floor powder room.

 

Outside a multiple level back deck connects to the bridge over Adds Creek and leads to the hillside stone pavilion with two outdoor fireplaces. Another outdoor fireplace and a propane grill are on the main deck making dining alfresco easy! Enjoy listening to the bubbling creek and watching the bats after a long day of canoeing or hiking! Adds Creek, which is a tributary to the Buffalo River passes under the deck bridge and stone stairs provide private access to the creek side patio.

 

Our driveway and parking area is motorcycle friendly.

No Pets, Please. Thank you for honoring this policy. Should your travel plans include a pet we’ll be happy to refer you to accommodations that accept pets. Please note should a pet be found in the lodge an additional fee will be charged to you.


Lodge is Smoke Free. You can smoke at least 10 ft from any door. Ash cans are provided.
